Board of Directors

Community Electric Cooperative is "owned by those we serve." Our electricity is purchased from Old Dominion Electric Cooperative, an electric generation and  transmission cooperative. The power is delivered from 10 substations over 1,590 miles of distribution line owned by Community Electric.

Community Electric Cooperative is governed by a nine-member board of directors. The directors, who are all member-consumers of the Cooperative, are elected by the membership at the annual meeting and serve three year terms. Director elections are held each year at the annual meeting in August.
