April is Community Service Month. Accordingly, in this month’s edition of Community Spotlight in Co-op Living, Community Electric takes note of the causes and programs that CEC employees have supported to help make life better for others in and around the area we serve. The organizations and activities identified below reflect our desire to be good citizens and to uphold one of the foundational principles of rural electric cooperatives across the nation – Concern for Community.
In sharing this list, we hope that it may inspire you, if you’re not doing so already, to share some of your time, talent and resources with those people and organizations in our community who can use the helping hand. And for what you do already, “Thank you! We’re all in this together.”

They are both externally focused to help our member-owners know what our co-op is all about – especially as an enterprise that THE MEMBERS own – and internally focused as a professional development mechanism empowering us to serve our members more efficiently and effectively.
