Annual Holiday Charity Drives
The holiday season is a time for giving, and at CEC, we embrace this wholeheartedly. Through partnerships with organizations like Meals on Wheels and the Rock Solid Foundation, we provide resources and support to those in need. Whether it’s delivering meals to seniors or supporting families facing challenges, our holiday charity drives bring warmth and care to our neighbors.
Investing in Education and the Future
Education is key to sustainable community development, and CEC is proud to support students and local schools through various scholarship programs:
- The VMDAEC $1,000 Scholarship empowers local students to pursue higher education and achieve their dreams.
- Our own CEC Youth Program Scholarship provides a $1,000 scholarship to an outstanding student while also donating $500 to a local nonprofit of their choice. This unique approach encourages both academic success and community involvement.
Day in the Life of a Lineman
Ever wonder what it’s like to keep the lights on? Our Day in the Life of a Lineman events offer community members a behind-the-scenes look at the dedication, skill, and teamwork it takes to maintain and restore power. These events foster appreciation for the hardworking individuals who brave the elements to keep our grid running smoothly.

Senior Advocate Community Meetings
