Community Electric has recognized five people for their many years of service to the cooperative and its members.
They are:
· Board Chair Jeannette Everett, 30 years
· Journeyman Lineman Jonathan Powell, 20 years
· Journeyman Lineman Austin Williams, 5 years
· Journeyman Lineman Kenny McMichael, 5 years
· Board Director Brian Jones, 5 years
These dedicated members of the CEC team received their service awards at the cooperative’s Christmas luncheon held in mid-December at the Hilton Riverfront in Suffolk.
“It is not easy to put into words the appreciation I feel in recognizing these individuals for their service to our cooperative and our members,” CEC President and CEO Steven A. Harmon said. “The years may vary, but each in his and her own way has contributed immensely to the success of Community Electric and to the well-being of our members. I sincerely thank them for all that they do and that I know they will continue to do, always giving 100 percent to uplift others.”
